Tombstone Tuesday ~ St. Patrick's Cemetery, Hudson, New Hampshire

I often drive by this cemetery on Rt. 102, Derry Road, in Hudson, New Hampshire but in 28 years I've never explored inside.  So recently I decided to take a stroll through St. Patrick's Cemetery.   It is located in Hudson, but is the parish cemetery originally for St. Patrick's Roman Catholic church in Nashua, just across the river on Spring Street.

This large flagpole and monument is inscribed:
"IN GRATEFUL MEMORY
OF ITS MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVED
GOD AND COUNTRY IN THE ARMED FORCES
THIS MEMORIAL IS DEDICATED
BY ST. PATRICK'S PARISH
REQUIESCAN IN PACE"

This large, beautiful celtic cross is inscribed with the name of "Rt. Rev. Monsignor Matthew J. B. Creamer, pastor of St. Patrick's Parish 1906- 1936, Died on October 1, 1936 in this eightieth year. RIP."  All around the ground near this cross are gravestones of local priests.
