Mini MacGregor Reunion in Derry, New Hampshire filmed by the BBC

Last week I posted about the BBC Northern Ireland's trip to Derry, New Hampshire to film the sites where Rev. MacGregor brought his flock from Aghadowey to Nutfield, New Hampshire. They filmed at the Derry History Museum, downtown, the MacGregor Public Library, the First Parish Church and at Settler's Row in the Forest Hill Cemetery.   They were also planning to find the spot by Beaver Lake where Rev. James MacGregor preached his first open air sermon upon founding the Nutfield settlement.

At the MacGregor Library the film crew filmed the "Derry Room" where historical manuscrips, genealogies and local history are stored. There is a fine old stained glass window that used to be in the MacGregor home at this location, before it was donated for a public library. Downstairs, in the meeting room, MacGregor descendants and descendants of other early Nutfield setters gathered to meet up with some MacGregor descendants from Northern Ireland. A fine time was had by everyone who attended.

cousins, and also local Derry residents like Phyllis Katsakiores, Derry's state
representative, and Rev. Dr. Deborah Roof of First Parish Congregational
Church in East Derry ( which was once Rev. MacGregor's parish church)
